Tavatanakit is the first rookie to win the ANA Inspiration
since Juli Inkster in 1984; she is the 14th
player in history to win a major title as a rookie.
She is 2021’s first Rolex First-Time Winner and the
sixth to become a Rolex First-Time Winner at the ANA
Inspiration.
Tavatanakit is the second UCLA Bruin to win a major,
joining Mo Martin (2014 AIG Women’s Open).
She is the second major winner from Thailand, joining Gaby Lopez
Ariya Jutanugarn (2016 AIG Women’s Open, 2018 U.S.
Women’s Open.
