Sei-Young Kim, who caught a birdie
in the 14th hole (par 5) in the back
nine, ended up running away with
a five-stroke lead after McDonald's
bogey in the 16th hole (par 4), which
set the game.
In the last hole 18 (par 4), Sei-Young
Kim made a bogey, and McDonald's
got a birdie, but it had nothing to do
with the result.
When Sei-Young Kim was confirmed
as the champion, many Korean
players congratulated her with
champagne.

McDonald ranked second with 11
under par, Stephanie Meadows
JinYoung Ko
(Northern Ireland) finished 3rd at 9
under par 3 and Lydia Go at 8 under
par tied for fourth place.
Jin-young Ko (25), the best player
in the LPGA last year participated
in the LPGA Tour event for the first
time this year, finished at 34th place
3-over par.
