majors: the U.S. Women’s Open and the KPMG Women’s
PGA Championship. The event, which is only in its
second edition and takes place in Shadow Creek in Las
Vegas, begins on Wednesday 25th and ends on Sunday
29th May. For the first 3 days, the 64 players, divided into
16 groups of 4, will compete within their own group in a
competition against each other.
The 1st classified of each group will then move on to the
single elimination matches, which will start on Saturday.
Eight matches will be played in the morning, followed by
the quarter-finals in the afternoon. On Sunday, however,
there will be the two semifinals in the morning, to
determine the last two champions, who will face each
other in the Championship Match in the afternoon.
In the 2021 edition, Ally Ewing played more than 120
holes of golf to conquer the Bank of Hope Match Play,
beating Sophia Popov by 2 to 1, in her second career win
on the LPGA Tour. On the pitch will be Ariya Jutanugarn,
