enrik Stenson (Sweden), who joined LIV Golf
Hsponsored by the Saudi Arabian capital, won on
his first appearance in LIV Golf. He received 4 million
dollars as the winning prize.
Stenson, who joined LIV Golf after giving up his position
as the Ryder Cup European team leader, made three
birdies and one bogey in the final round of the 3rd round
of the LIV Invitational Series held at Trump National
Golf Club (par 71) in Bedminster, New Jersey on July
31st. Stenson, who recorded a final round with a two-
under 69 finished a total of 11 under par 202, won the
championship by two strokes behind the second-place
group including Matthew Wolf and Dustin Johnson
(9-under 204).
Stenson, who completed the 'Wire-to-Wire' championship
in this tournament, has won 6 PGA Tour victories and 11
DP World Tour victories.
In particular, Stenson rejected the offer to join Liv Golf in
March and became the leader of the Ryder Cup European
team, a golf competition between the United States and
Europe, but changed his mind and joined Liv after 4
months.
He is expected to receive a payment of about $50 million
(about 65.3 billion won), and was fired from his position

In the team event, The 4 Aces team including world No.
1 Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Talor Gooch, and Pat
Perez won the team event with a total of 25 under. They
reached the top for the second time in a row following
the second tournament last month and shared a prize of
