From June 8th to 13th, for a span of 6 days,
within the ShopRite LPGA Classic tourna-
ment venue at the Seaview Resort Golf Club
in New Jersey, Gyeongsangbuk-do’s enter-
prises promoted and marketed their prod-
ucts. Through this event, they conveyed the
excellence of Gyeongsangbuk-do products
to consumers and left a strong impression on
buyers.
The ShopRite LPGA Classic is a women’s
professional golf tournament on the LPGA
Tour that started in 1986. ShopRite, a large
supermarket chain operating over 350 stores
in the US East Coast, is the title sponsor,
turning the event into the region’s premier
festival.
The gallery of this tournament attracts
around 20,000 visitors daily, providing an
opportunity to engage with consumers, sam-
ple products, and maximize the effectiveness
of promotional efforts.
Over the past 10 years, the Korea Agro-
Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT)
and prominent Korean food companies have
participated, contributing to heightened
awareness and strong trust in Korean prod-
ucts.
ShopRite Market currently features nu-
merous Korean products, contributing to
substantial sales growth and serving as a
bridgehead for selling Korean products in
the US East Coast. Notable Korean play-
ers who have won this tournament include
Se-ri Pak in 1999, Seon Hwa Lee in 2006,
In-Kyung Kim in 2017, and Annie Park, a
Korean-American player.
Participating companies and products in
this event included Punggi Insam Corpora-
tion, Sunmulmaru, Wellness Bio, Easybap,
Marine de Toit, All Green, Garam of Na-
ture, Haneuldam-eun, Yellow Whale, and
Haeruna, totaling 10 companies. Through
participation in this event, these companies
individually introduced their products to
LPGA players and garnered significant inter-
est from buyers of ShopRite Food Company,
